We bring the community together by offering people various ways to be involved in our local museum. We have many events throughout the year that bring people into the museum that have different interests and backgrounds. Annually, we have an Art Show & Car Show in June, Autumn Bazaar in October and Christmas Tree Lane in December. We also have other entertainment throughout the year. We have offered classes consisting of Art, Photography, Cake decorating and Cultured Foods, among others in our Community Classroom.  We also have church organizations and schools schedule their youth for history field trips. We are on a main thoroughfare which makes it possible for interested travelers, passing through our little town, to stop and learn about the history of our valley.

The Mud Lake Museum has become a gathering place in our community for events that bring us together to fellowship, educate and celebrate our common interests and to remember the courageous pioneers that homesteaded here.
